Workcover

 

A. Workcover consults, (excluding procedures and eye injuries).

  • These are charged at the current gazetted Workcover rates.

  • If there is a viable claim number, the invoice is sent to the appropriate insurer or employer for payment.

  • If there is no viable claim number, full payment is at the end of the consult. The patient can then claim back what they paid from Workcover when they obtain a claim number.

B. Workcover reports

  • These are charged at the current gazetted Workcover rates.

  • Full payment is required upfront and the report is available within 5 working days.

 

Insurance, Medico-legal and Other Medicals

 

This includes:

  • motor vehicle accidents- consults and reports

  • personal protection- consults and reports

  • death and disability reports

  • second medical opinions- consults and reports

  • specific medical reports

  • medico-legal reports

  • pre-employment health medicals, consults and reports

A. Medicals.

  • These are charged at a higher rate than Workcover medicals.

  • Prices can be provided on request.

  • Payment is at the end of the medical.

B. Consults.

  • These are charged at a higher rate than Workcover consults.

  • Prices can be provided on request.

  • Payment is at the end of the consult.

C. Reports.

  • These are charged at a higher rate than Workcover reports.

  • Prices can be provided on request

  • Full payment is required upfront into a trust account and the report is available within 5 working days.

Workcover, Insurance, medico-legal consults can be undertaken in corporate workplaces, and travel time fees are added.
